Invert the vent lid (i.e. with hinge visible), centralize the glazing panel, and then insert wedge gasket. Commencing at the vent lid bracket insert gasket under the aluminum lip and work around the vent lid, notching out to fit neatly in the corners and around the bracket.

The vent unit is fitted with thermally broken ‘H’ sections at both the top and bottom edges, to accept the glazing material. Care is required to avoid damage to the ‘H’ sections during installation.
The vent is fitted at a recommended distance of 200mm below the ridge or wall plate. The ‘H’ sections above and below the vent are glazed into the poly carbonate or glass and silicone sealed.

To provide easier access, temporarily remove the vent lid. Pull the spring loaded pin inside the lid to release it from the opening mechanism. Hinge the lid back and lift away from the vent body.

5. |
Place the vent body either alone or with the top glazing panel attached between the glazing bars and slide up into position.

6. |
Place the lower glazing panel between the glazing bars and push fit the upper edge into the vent ‘H’ section and seal with a bead of clear silicone sealant.
